Company Profile

Anchor Title and Closing, was founded in August 2002, by Allen and Tia Stout, local Realtors specializing in residential real estate, farms and land in Rogers County, Oklahoma.  It was their vision to open a title company that emphasized the closing process rather than title search and abstracting.  Their mission was to design a model emphasizing frequent follow up with buyers, sellers, lenders, and Realtors while taking a more assertive role in closing the transaction.

It was their goal to place more accountability on the escrow officer to coordinate the transaction rather than depending on other parties to follow up.  Their goal is to take the closing responsibility off the Realtors and lenders so they can sell more houses and process more loans.  Realtors and lenders are better served when they have more time to prospect for more customers.

Anchor Title uses the latest technology to communicate with their customers such as e-mail, PDF, facsimile, and transaction point software.  Transaction Point Software is new technology that enables parties to a transaction to check their status on line using a special password for each transaction.

Anchor Title and Closing is located at 322 W. Will Rogers Blvd., in Claremore.  This historic building was originally built in 1921 and was most notable for being the location of Bell’s Confectionary.  Oklahomes Realty, Inc. occupied the building for 15 years before moving to their new location at the City Limits Center South of Claremore.

This building, owned by Allen and Tia, was renovated in 2005 to the specifications of the Claremore Main Street Program and has been nominated for an award for best renovation in Oklahoma.

Since 2002, Anchor Title has provided superior closing services to the real estate industry in Rogers County.
